It was my birthday yesterday, today i get bioshock oblvion and sims 3? I gave the missus her remit for my birthday, id like a generic XP compatible game pad, she came back with %26quot;the wire%26quot; box set. as much as i love the wire i%26#039;ve already seen every episode i don%26#039;t need more DVDs i wont watch. So i asked her to change it for sims3 (she%26#039;s a big sims fan) she has one two and hasn%26#039;t got 3 yet. so its my birthday and im asking her to get a present she wants for herself! she just phoned me, she asked the generic goatee beard HMV worker, you know the one, the one with the tribal tattoo%26#039;s and ear piercings which game would i like. He suggested bio shock and oblivion. Should i be excited? because if its sandbox i will kick her a%26#039;ss

evil hamster: sandbox means a game thats 360 all around in 1st person perspective, every single NPC is interactive and so is most objects. you can walk for an hour dead ahead without the screen going blank

Oblivion is pretty sandbox-ish, there%26#039;s a story line but you can pretty much ignore it to build up your levels or talk to people or explore the giant world. It%26#039;s pretty tho =p

Bioshock is a FPS that isn%26#039;t sandbox-y but is very very cool.

I would recommend Bioshock. Played both Oblivion and Bioshock

Thanks Riley, bioshock had trouble playing, im on a 64 bit dual core 3gig/hz athlon, 7 series 512mb pci express nvidia and 2 gigs ddr 2 ram. im praying its just the video drivers. looks great though. oblivion, patrick stewart as narrator im in hog heaven the 3 d world is amazing.

• Yeah oblivion is very sandbox...And honestly when I started playing it it was very overwhelming and frustrating, but I grew to love it...Sounds like she%26#039;s getting the bundle tho so its not like your losing money...2 games for the price of one...
