How to write on oil cloth and then remove it? Hi, I%26#039;m working on a project for my son%26#039;s kindergarten. I need to make oil cloth pouches for each child. I want to be able to write their initials on it so we can keep track if one is missing. I then need to be able to remove the initials for the next child.

Have you ever done this? I would test some pens/ink out but I don%26#039;t have any oil cloth at the moment. I%26#039;m wondering if dry erase pens would work? Or a grease pen?

Why not just use adhesive labels?
