Yugioh Question: XX-saber Faultroll?
So I%26#039;ve been recently seeing different rulings on XX-Saber Faultroll. Many people say that much like Great Shogun Shien, if you have two X-saber monsters you can special summon Faultroll from your hand. However the OCG ruling says: The text %26quot;this card cannot be Special Summoned except if you control 2 or more face-up %26quot;X-Saber%26quot; monsters%26quot; of %26quot;XX-Saber Faultroll%26quot; is a Summoning Condition. It is not an effect. Meaning that he cannot inherently special summon himself. So I want to know how he works, can I summon him from the hand with two X-sabers on the field or can I only SS him with a card such as Gottom%26#039;s E-call, and only if I have two or more X-sabers?

Hey,
You can only special summon him when you control 2 or more X-Sabers. For it%26#039;s rulings, where it says %26quot;The text %26quot;this card cannot be Special Summoned except if you control 2 or more face-up %26quot;X-Saber%26quot; monsters%26quot; of %26quot;XX-Saber Faultroll%26quot; is a Summoning Condition. It is not an effect%26quot; means it is not an effect of the card, it is a summoning condition, and you cannot negate a summoning condition.
Just to note, he is a nomi monster, and you can chain to his summon.
Hope i helped!
